Youngkin’s team responds to election night results
Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia team responded to the election results with a memo on Wednesday. Youngkin and Spirit of Virginia spent millions to try and take control of the state Senate and flip the House of Delegates but were unsuccessful. Democrats ended up gaining a slight majority in the House, 51-49 according to unofficial results, and keeping a slim majority in the Senate, 21-19 according to unofficial results.
