It is reporting time for political campaigns, so I figured I would also provide you with an update on how Virginia Scope and this newsletter are doing.

During the first quarter of the year, from Jan. 1 to March 31, Virginia Scope and this newsletter combined to receive 1,646,351 views.

Most of the traffic, 1,475,542, comes from subscribers receiving the newsletter directly in their inbox.

Facebook, Google, and Twitter are the next highest referral sources.

The stand-alone website, Virginiascope.com, was visited by 52,747 unique users.

A little more than 400,000 users viewed the newsletter.

In total, the newsletter has 14,846 subscribers.

Traffic came from all fifty states in the United States and from 70 different countries.

The state with the highest percentage of viewing the content is Virginia at 68%.

Next on the list:

• Washington, DC: 4%

• California: 4%

• New York: 3%

• Maryland: 3%

As for other countries:

• 365 views came from Germany.

• 131 from Canada.

• 129 from the United Kingdom.

• 119 from India
