Virginia’s legislators are returning to Richmond on April 4 to finish their work on the budget and a slate of bills that remain in conference committees. Legislators have to work out their differences on nearly 50 bills that passed in both chambers with different language. Both chambers must pass identical bills for it to be sent to the governor.
