The Arena Deal

The coveted Wizards/Capitols arena deal that Gov. Glenn Youngkin has been pushing for still has a few chances to come to fruition. Finance Chair Sen. Louise Lucas, D-Portsmouth, killed the Senate version the legislation to move the arena out of Washington D.C. and into Alexandria. She did not allow the House version of the bill to advance out of the Senate, either.
