Speaker Scott discusses redistricting amendment

The House of Delegates just advanced a resolution out of the full chamber on party lines that would allow Democrats to redraw congressional boundaries next year ahead of the midterm elections. Many steps still need to be completed before that can happen, but this was an essential first step. The Senate is now set to take up the legislation (Senate P&E is meeting as I type this).
