Del. Marie March

The latest developments in the March v. Williams saga

In case you missed it this weekend or in this newsletter yesterday, Dels. Marie March (R) and Wren Williams (R) are deep in a nomination battle with charges being pressed and accusations being made. March and Williams are battling for the same Republican nomination after redistricting late last year placed them within the same boundaries for 2023’s elections.

Over the weekend, March accused Williams of pushing her during a fundraiser. Williams has denied the accounting of the incident from March at the event that took place Saturday.

Williams released very blurry surveillance footage Monday night from the event showing what he says is him walking past March with no real incident. In the second piece of footage on the same tweet from Williams, you can see March in a much clearer frame reenacting herself being pushed for police officers and nearly falling over.

If the footage from the first blurry video is actually Williams and March at the time the supposed interaction happened, then what March demonstrated for the police officers does not seem to be accurate.
