Moran steps away from the Youngkin administration
Two sources have confirmed that Matt Moran, who has been serving as the executive director of Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s political action committee, told the governor on Tuesday that he was stepping away from his role.
A source with direct knowledge of the situation told Virginia Scope that Moran told the governor that he was distracted and becoming a distraction, and wanted to focus on the things he needed to focus on.
Moran has not released a public statement.
