Miyares saves Wrinkles the giraffe from Natural Bridge Zoo; the zoo owners fight back on social media
Attorney General Jason Miyares announced victory in an animal cruelty case with a Rockbridge County Circuit Court ruling that four giraffes, including two pregnant females, will be immediately relocated from the Natural Bridge Zoo. The giraffes were among 71 animals awarded to Rockbridge County after a March jury verdict found evidence of neglect at the zoo.
The new zoo owner is pushing back and sharing videos of the investigative unit working with their animals and promising “more content to come.”
