A Republican delegate vowed to work to enact more restrictions on abortion in Virginia
McPike Wins
State Sen. Jeremy McPike (D) claims victory over Del. Elizabeth Guzman (D) in the SD-29 Democratic primary. After the final votes were counted, McPike finished with 60 more votes than Guzman — less than half of a percentage point, with only a few Stafford county votes left to be counted Monday.
Guzman conceded in the race instead of requesting a recount.
