The rundown

  • Spanberger’s campaign provided a long explanation on Sunday as to why they will not be participating in a debate this Friday against Vega after right-wing radio host Larry O’Connor was announced as a co-moderator. Vega responded by accusing Spanberger of being scared to answer for the comments from Del. Guzman about charging parents for not affirming their child’s gender. O’Connor also provided many responses and comments — first, he offered to drop out —then he turned to attacking Spanberger. Read it all below.


No debate in VA-07

A letter sent from Rep. Abigail Spanberger’s (D) campaign to supporters and volunteers over the weekend gives the indication that there will not be a debate between her and her Republican challenger, Yesli Vega. Spanberger and Vega are running for the VA-07 seat in the House of Representatives.
