Herrity leads fundraising for GOP LG race
Fairfax Supervisor Pat Herrity has a significant fundraising advantage over John Reid in the race for the Republican lieutenant governor nomination.
According to VPAP, Herrity raised $540,273 compared to $178,110 from Reid.
Only one Democrat filed their number, Alex Bastani, who reported raising $134,137. However, $130,000 of that total was from himself.
Candidates have until midnight to submit their reports to the Department of Elections.
The full picture should be painted tomorrow morning.
