GOP-Backed PAC Launches Six-Figure Ad Blitz Targeting Virginia Democrats

A Republican-aligned political action committee is rolling out a six-figure digital ad campaign targeting Virginia Democrats ahead of November’s legislative elections.

The Republican State Leadership Committee, working in coordination with the Virginia House Republican Campaign Committee, announced Tuesday it is launching a new wave of ads accusing select Democratic lawmakers of blocking efforts to cut taxes, strengthen public safety, and give parents more control over their children’s education.

The ads mark one of the GOP’s first major investments of the 2025 cycle and offer the clearest signal yet of which Democratic-held seats Republicans believe are ripe for a flip.

“The Democrats controlling Richmond rejected these practical initiatives for political reasons, ignoring the clear support from Virginians,” said RSLC PAC President Edith Jorge-Tuñón. “If the Democrats in Richmond can dismiss straightforward ideas like tax cuts, how can we trust them to lead effectively?"

The campaign is expected to run across multiple digital platforms in Virginia.
