Filler Corn endorses Rouse
Former Speaker of the House Eileen Filler Corn is endorsing state Sen. Aaron Rouse, D-Virginia Beach, in the Democratic primary for lieutenant governor.
“I’m proud to endorse my friend, Senator Aaron Rouse, for Lieutenant Governor,” Filler Corn said. “I’ve seen Aaron’s dedication up close — he listens, he shows up, and he puts in the hard work to make a difference. Whether it's protecting reproductive freedom, supporting federal workers, or standing up to dangerous agendas from Donald Trump and Glenn Youngkin, Aaron leads with courage and compassion. He’s exactly the kind of leader Virginia needs right now, and I’m honored to stand with him.”
Six Democrats are seeking the nomination to run against Republican nominee John Reid.
Primary day is June 17.
