Correction to the last newsletter

Spanberger has over $14 million cash on hand.

Hi, I am here to tell you I messed up Spanberger’s cash on hand and left out some relevant donors to Rouse.

First: I incorrectly wrote that Democratic gubernatorial nominee Abigail Spanberger has a lot less cash on hand than she actually does. Spanberger finished the latest filing period with $14,336,945 cash on hand, compared to her Republican opponent Winsome Earle-Sears, who has $2,959,383 cash on hand.

Second: I included that Democratic lieutenant governor candidate Ghazala Hashmi received $50,000 from Comstock, the group that is behind the Northern Virginia casino proposal. Her opponent for the Democratic nomination, Aaron Rouse, also received $25,000 from Comstock, $25,000 from Building a Remarkable Virginia PAC, which is related to Comstock, and $25,000 from Live Casino and Hotel Virginia.
