Comstock endorses Vindman

Former VA-10 Republican Congresswoman Barbara Comstock is endorsing the Democratic nominee in VA-07, Eugene Vindman.

“As a 25 year Army veteran and former prosecutor, Eugene Vindman fits the mold for the type of bipartisan problem solver that Congress needs in this hyper-partisan moment,” Comstock said. “In Congress, Eugene will tackle pressing issues facing our region, like overhauling our infrastructure and taking on the traffic and congestion on the 95 corridor. He’ll also stand up to Project 2025, which would ship tens of thousands of jobs out of our communities and devastate our local economy. Finally, Eugene’s opponent would roll over for Trump in Ukraine while Eugene has the strength to stand up for what’s right.”

Comstock often pushes back against Trump and the MAGA factions in the Republican Party.

Vindman is running in a dead heat race against Republican Derrick Anderson.

Election day is Nov. 5.
