Abortion budget amendment from Dunnavant

A budget amendment from state Sen. Siobhan Dunnavant (R-Henrico) would include $50,000 to the Department of Corrections “to address any projected corrections bedspace fiscal impact of a bill to be introduced in the 2023 session related to third-trimester abortions and state funding for abortions.)”

With both totals now available on VPAP:

  • Lashrecse Aird raised $48,382 during the final six months of 2022. She finished the year with $133,057 cash on hand.

  • Joe Morrissey raised $107,984 during the final six months of 2022. He finished with $332,717.
