Wheeler’s former colleagues sent a letter to the Virginia state Senate expressing support of his nomination

Former Trump administration EPA Chief Andrew Wheeler was nominated by Governor Glenn Youngkin to serves as his Secretary for Natural and Historic Resources, but he is facing the most opposition from Youngkin’s slate of cabinet picks after his actions while he was in charge of the EPA under Trump.

Some of his former colleagues are trying to counter that opposition by sending a letter of support to the state Senate.
